About Liqui-Cel Membrane Gas Transfer Devices

Training Class

Membrane technology for water treatment applications will be discussed during 3M's free 2-day Training Couse at our headquarters, located in Charlotte, North Carolina – USA. Information about the following two 3M products will be discussed over the 2 day class.

Liqui-Cel® Membrane Contactor
A hollow hydrophobic fiber that allows dissolved gases to be removed or added to liquids. Liqui-Cel membrane contactors have been replacing conventional vacuum towers and forced draft deaerators for the past 20 years due to their compact size and more efficient performance.

Liqui-Flux® Ultrafiltration
A hollow fiber hydrophilic fiber that filters suspended solids, viruses/bacteria and organic load from water. Commonly used for industrial waste water filtration and pre-treatment to reverse osmosis. Inside-out is the water flow direction and we will explain and demonstrate its superior performance and backwashing compared to Outside-in filter design.

Training Overview

1) Classroom learning with practical and engineering instructions.
